Bare Clip Pre-Tied Ceiling Wires

Bare clip pre-tied ceiling wires provide a fast and economical way to suspend ceiling grid, electrical fixtures, cable tray, lighting, low voltage cabling, and other overhead systems when a powder actuated fastener is not a good choice. They can be installed in a variety of overhead materials by choosing the fastener of your preference. Each galvanized 12-gauge ceiling wire comes factory pre-tied to a bare angle clip, allowing installers to attach the clip directly to steel, wood, or other structural members using the appropriate screw or fastener.

These assemblies help reduce installation time while providing consistent wire lengths for commercial construction, electrical, voice and data, security, fire alarm, and suspended ceiling applications. Available in multiple wire lengths and package quantities, bare clip pre-tied wires are an excellent choice whenever mechanical fastening is preferred over powder actuated installation.

Applications for Bare Clip Ceiling Wires

Bare clip pre-tied ceiling wires are commonly used by ceiling contractors, electrical contractors, low voltage installers, and structured cabling professionals for overhead support applications. Because the clip does not include a drive pin, it offers maximum flexibility when attaching to wood framing, structural steel, or other substrates using the appropriate screw or approved fastener.

These pre-tied wire assemblies are ideal for supporting suspended ceiling grid, light fixtures, cable pathways, speakers, security devices, communication cables, and other overhead installations. Factory-tied assemblies save labor compared to tying wire on the job while helping create a cleaner, more consistent installation.

If you have a concrete deck, consider a direct fastening system to speed up install. If you have concrete and but can't use a Ramset or a Hilti tool, consider a tie wedge anchor for less hardware. If you are doing a lot of metal decks or wood, consider an eye lag pole that can install the screw and tie the wire all from the floor.
