Ramset 38TRHSS10 Rod Hangers For
3/8” All Thread
The Ramset 38TRHSS10 is a
flexible assembly made for 3/8"-16 all-thread or other 3/8-16 hardware. It's designed to be installed efficiently
using either a powder-actuated tool or a gas-powered tool like the Ramset T4SS,
ensuring easy attachment into concrete. The hanger has a distinctive
"Z" shape, with threads on one side and a nail or pin on the
opposite.
Applications Of The 38TRHSS10
Rod Hanger
With its 3/8"-16
threading, the Ramset 38TRHSS10 rod hanger serves a broad range of applications
in multiple industries. By far the most common use is dropping 3/8” all thread from
the concrete ceiling. Typically, the
hangers are used in lighter applications that still require a 3/8” rod. Anyone in need of a speedy and reliable way to
suspend 3/8"-16 hardware or all-thread rods from concrete will appreciate
this product’s design.
Rod Hanger Load Ratings
When installed in 4,000 PSI
concrete with a ¾” embedment, the Ramset 38TRHSS10 is rated for an allowable
tension or pullout capacity just above 100 lbs. and a shear strength of 210
lbs. While these load ratings may seem high, it's important to note that for
typical lighting or cabling installations, the actual weight being suspended is
often much less, making this product a possible choice for those applications.
Compatible Tools for the
Ramset 38TRHSS10
One of the key advantages of
the Ramset 38TRHSS10 rod hanger is its wide compatibility with powder-actuated
tools from top brands like Ramset, Hilti, DeWalt, and Powers, as well as
single-shot gas tools. Tools such as the Ramset T4SS and the Simpson G3 are
perfect for installing the 38TRHSS10, and even the Bosch Concrete Battery
Nailer can be used for firing it. The 1” premium pin used with the system
features a .300 diameter head, with a step shank size of .125/.150.
